Admissions Process

We are excited that you are interested in Acton Academy Upstate! We currently offer an elementary studio (grades 1 -6). The admissions process is designed to make sure that we are the right school for your family. We accept applications on a rolling basis.

Step One: Learn More

Please familiarize yourself with Acton. If you haven’t already, review our website. Get Inspired here. We also recommend reading Courage to Grow: How Acton Academy Turns Learning Upside Down. If you’d like to borrow a copy, we’d be happy to lend one! Just make a note in your contact form.

Step Two: Complete a short quiz

Are you ready for an Acton Academy audition? Please complete this short quiz. We will be in touch with more information to help determine if we’re the right fit for your family.

Step Three: Complete your Application

After our initial assessment, we will provide an application. This is a chance for us to get to know you better. Some questions to expect include:

  1. After reviewing our website and resources, what inspires you most about Acton Academy Upstate?
  2. Why do you think Acton Academy Upstate will be a good fit for your child?
  3. Tell us about your family’s educational journey. How have you been satisfied and dissatisfied with your child’s education so far (if applicable)?

Step Four: Schedule a Family Visit

After receiving your application, your child will be invited to visit Acton Upstate. We look forward to meeting you and your child and introducing the campus.

Step Five: Invitation to Enroll

Following the visit, if we believe Acton is a good fit for your family, we will invite you to enroll.
